Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all are enjoying a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends!

I actually finished all my Christmas shopping, wrapping, tagging, and most of the cooking/ baking for Christmas a little early. This is a first in a great many years for me, so I took advantage of a little down time to create a Buncha Scraps & High Hopes Stamps project that I wanted to share with you all today.

I used a variety of different resources for this project. First, I stamped one of my designs from High Hopes Stamps from the Joys of the Seasons release called "Sleigh Ride"

This Snowman and his little Penguin buddy are defintiely cuties, who look as if they are on their way to visit all their favorite people to deliver Christmas gifts. So, I made them a sleigh using some Buncha Scraps papers from my Christmas Collections and filled it with goodies.  I would have filled the sleigh with candy, but I try not to keep candy readily available, if you know what I mean!

The fabulous sleigh design is a 3D Sleigh Design by Silhouette found in their design store. It was a lot of fun to make, and worked perfectly with my little Snowman and Penguin stamp.

If you look closely, I have also created two large paper presents in the background. I used Buncha Scraps papers from the "Christmas With Santa" Paper Collection for these presents.

These Presents are not just for looks. They are functional as well! The paper  Gift Box design is also from Silhouette called "Gift Box Hidden Card Holder" by Snapdragon Snippets. I love this design so much that I made two of them...both of them are actually stocking stuffers for my son for Christmas.

The big paper bow lifts right up to reveal a gift card, note, money, or whatever your heart desires. It's a fantastic presentation! I can't wait for him to open it!

I hope you have enjoyed my little Christmas projects.  Merry Christmas Everyone!

Be sure to check out my call for Design Team members. The application Deadline is Dec 31, 2015!

Christmas Memories

Hey Everyone!

This is a re-blog from my personal blog. I just wanted to share not only the layouts, but the meaning behind them.

This is the time of year that brings our loved ones to us either in mind, body or spirit. I have so many wonderful memories of Christmas and some very sad ones too. But as I look back, the memories that always bring a smile to my face are the ones of my loyal, loving, precious babies!

I had to use this photo because they were my two precious little girls, Coco, and Bella. I say were, because, little did I know at the time, this was the last Christmas that my sweet, gentle Coco would ever spend with me.

She got very sick just a few short months later, and almost over night I lost my Coco. It was shocking and heartbreaking, to say the least. I still miss her everyday.

Although it ended in sadness, this photo depicts a very happy and hilarious moment. It was only days before Christmas 2014, the girls were napping on the sofa, so I thought it would be the perfect time to  try quietly to wrap some of their Christmas presents.

I gathered everything I needed and put them on the dining room table. I began to wrap each gift in anticipation of their excitement on Christmas morning when they received their little treasures. Suddenly I had a feeling of being watched, and when I turned to the right, there they both stood looking at me with curiosity and wonder. I couldn't help but laugh and grab my phone to snap a picture of this treasured moment. I never could pull anything over on these two. They were forever watching everything I did.

Last year, my adorable and crazy little Bella realized that, in her mind, Christmas is all about her! So she has graciously taken over everything and fallen into the "only child" role quite well. I'm sure she misses Coco too because they were best of friends. I'm just so grateful to have my memories and, still be able to have so much joy through my little Bella.

I can't wait to create new memories this Christmas with my family and friends. It's a precious time of year.

I created these layouts using two Buncha Scraps collections, Christmas Treasure and Christmas with Santa, which is not yet released, but will be shortly. They are the same layout, just switched out the background papers and some of the embellishments!

I hope you have enjoyed my treasured Christmas Memories as well as the layouts.

Frosty Winter Blessings

Hey Friends!

Hope you all are getting your Christmas shopping done. This is the first year, that I can ever remember, that I finished my Christmas shopping before Christmas Eve.  I don't even have to stay up all night on Christmas eve to wrap everything either....that's done too!

Today I'm sharing a little card created with the Christmas Treasure Digital Collection.

Oh BTW...the Christmas Treasure Alphabet Collection is now available for download.

A very pretty font, in a crimson linen with a thin white outline, makes for a wonderful Holiday header, title or just about anything your imagination can create.

Winter Wishes

Happy December Everyone!

Hope you all are having a wonderful Holiday Season so far! It's such an exciting time of the year filled with joyful anticipation.

Buncha Scraps Christmas Treasure Collection is still going strong. I just wanted to share this layout with you all that was created with this collection.

Since I last posted, new add-ons for the Christmas Treasure Collection have come available.

Sometimes, just adding a border to your page or pages can change the whole dynamic of your project.

A border can be any combination of elements, or just one long element, that runs down or across your page. Many of you can get very creative with the fabulous touch of a border. But just in case you need some help, I've also created a set of Christmas Treasure Borders to help you along.

The Christmas Treasure Border Collection has eight coordinating frosty and Christmas-ee 12" digital borders. I used two of them in the "Warm Wishes" layout.

Adding Tags and Text Art to your projects are always fun in defining special moments, times, or feelings etc...

Often, time is an issue for all of us. So, I also added a Christmas Treasure Tags & Text Collection which include words, sentiments and even a journal tag, to help you with your pages and projects.

As most of you know, I almost always include this add-on to help create your pages and projects a little quicker. Since Christmas is a gift giving opportunity, these would also work well to decorate your presents.

However, given the Holiday Season, and all the gift giving that goes along with it, I've also created a printable collection of Christmas Treasure Gift Tags. These beautiful tags download as a JPEG file that can be printed, cut, and used to identify all your presents.

Have you noticed the text art in the "Warm Wishes" Layout? That was created with the Christmas Treasure Alphabet Collection coming soon.

I will keep you all posted!

I hope you have enjoyed this layout and the add-ons for this collection.
